PRIDE Košice 2025 will happen! Not despite everything that is happening in Slovakia, but precisely because of it.
Because PRIDE is PROTEST, and this year we cannot afford not to protest. We must show our dissatisfaction with the state of LGBTI+ rights loud and clear.

👉 What to expect?
The 13th annual PRIDE Košice festival will take place on 16-24 August. The week of various accompanying events will lead to the PRIDE parade through Košice on Saturday 23 August. Most of the accompanying events will be held in Tabačka (Gorkého 2), while the main PRIDE day will be in Kasárne/Kulturpark (Kukučínova 2).
You can look forward to a diverse range of activities, including karaoke, slam poetry, workshops, inspiring debates and concerts. We have a few surprises in store, too! Please note that some events have a limited number of participants, so sign up as soon as possible. You can find more information about the supporting events and the sign-up forms here.

📍 Kasárne/Kulturpark, Košice
The Kulturpark gates will open at 10:30 am and the most important day of PRIDE Košice 2025 will officially start at 11:00 am. In addition to a rich musical programme, you can look forward to various accompanying activities, such as high heel running or discussions. There will also be a relaxation zone where you can take a break from the hustle and bustle and still be part of PRIDE.
Before the parade, you can come and create banners with us or get your make-up done. A children’s play area will be available as well.
The PRIDE Parade will start at 1:30 pm from Kasárne/Kulturpark and will last approximately 1.5 hours. Please bring enough water, sun cream and, hat or a cap to avoid overheating.
We hope you will enjoy the parade with us, however, you should not forget about your own safety. Please listen to and follow the instructions of our staff.
Police and private security service will be present during the parade, as well as PRIDE staff and volunteers, whom you will be able to recognize by their reflective vests. Security will also be present at the gates throughout the day. Please be prepared that participants will have their bags checked for safety reasons.
The parade will be followed by a musical program and other activities. In the evening you can look forward to a drag show and after party. Enjoy it and be respectful to the other participants so that everyone can enjoy the day as well!
